Keyboard and navigation
A skip link leads to the main content, interactive controls have visible focus, and core public tasks are designed to work without a pointer.
Access without guesswork
Lanier Local uses semantic structure, visible focus, clear labels, and responsive layouts. Accessibility is an ongoing product requirement—not a certification claim.
Access is part of the product
The current target is WCAG 2.2 AA. That target still requires continued automated checks, keyboard review, screen-reader review, contrast review, and correction of barriers as the product changes.
Useful context
A skip link leads to the main content, interactive controls have visible focus, and core public tasks are designed to work without a pointer.
Headings, landmarks, labels, contrast, and reflow support clearer reading across desktop, mobile, zoomed, and narrow-screen layouts.
Reduced-motion preferences suppress nonessential movement. Decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology, while meaningful images receive useful text alternatives.
